On Friday, a Ferrari Testarossa F512 was nano-sealed at the nanoTECH ® vehicle-valeting centre in Barsinghausen. The red luxury hot-wheels brought a touch of "Miami Vice" to the local valeting centre. Many visitors came to watch the live event and used the opportunity to learn about the benefits of nano sealing. "We are proud to have been able to seal this high-quality vehicle and want to thank our client for his trust", states the nanoTECH ® team in unison.

"Does nano have negative health effects?"
There are constant questions and discussions about this topic – without conclusive answers. Some end users are therefore unsure about the situation.
The Bund für Umwelt- und Naturschutz Berlin (environmental organisation) stated to Die Welt back in December 2006 that many of the research studies carried out were not conducive to estimating the potential health risks. The studies were based on high-dosage tests to ascertain whether there were any “effects“ at all. According to Rene Zimmer (BfR) there are no known cases proving that nano particles have had negative health effects.
Nonetheless, there are constant debates about health risks – e.g.: Spiegel Online on October 21 2009: - Environmental Office plays down warnings about nano – feels misunderstood
According to many experts, nano technology not only provides the potential for economic development but could also bring about improvements in environmental and health protection. Nano technology is proven to have the potential to put less strain on the environment. Some of this is already applied in practice (according to UfU expert Zimmer).
Research has shown that the products are completely safe when in a fully hardened state. When nano sealing is properly carried out and has achieved a fully dried state, there are no health risks. In their liquid state, these products constitute a smaller health risk than other ordinary cleaning agents. It goes without saying that these products should not be consumed and that thorough hand-washing is essential.
Products offered by the company nanoTECH ® UG are guaranteed to be free from poison, acid and phosphate and they conform to environmental standards and are bio-degradable.
Those in doubt should be aware that nano particles can be found in well over 600 products in everyday use (e.g. paints, cosmetics, sun cream, toothbrushes, socks, underwear, cleaning cloths, washing machines and many more…).
Nano is the future...

Dear reader, the constant high interest in nano technology has led to our decision to provide regular updates on this topic.
In collaboration with the company nanoTECH ® UG, Barsinghausen, we will try to inform you about the multitude of applications of nano products for cleaning and sealing.
The company nanoTECH ® has not only been sealing new and second-hand cars with great success but has also made a name for itself in other areas.
Today, we would like to give you an example in the context of "nano wood sealing". To seal a new object in order to maintain its state of newness for many years to come is the overriding principle of why nano sealing is undertaken in everyday working practice. By contrast, the request to clean a 25-year-old sauna and to seal it seemed to provide a real challenge.
Wood is a porous material which often absorbs too much water. In this particular case, the wood had already changed its colour and form substantially. The object seemed dark, in parts almost black and unsightly. As a first step, the wood had to be carefully planed down before it could be sealed with a special material. After a few days, the object appeared as good as new. Despite its invisibility, the nano sealing protects the wood from water and humidity. Water can no longer attach itself to the surface and thus is prevented from breaking through it. It is simply repelled. All that remains is a natural equilibrium humidity of the wood. Despite the sealing, wood remains completely breathable.
Naturally, it is not possible to turn “old“ into "new", but have a look at the “before and after“ pictures and make up your own mind. These can be found on the Web at www.nano-center.eu (Content page: Leisure - Hobby).
I would like to say goodbye for today – until next time.
Yours sincerely,
Sonja Richard

Dear Reader, as promised, a new report about the activities of the company nanoTECH ® UG, Barsinghausen.
In response to several satisfied customers, I would like to write about the topic of “lease car returns”.
Lease cars that are returned are in most cases liable to considerable additional costs for various reasons, e.g. damages (including minor ones) and evidence of normal signs of usage. These need to be paid by the customer. If the vehicle has not been cleaned carefully inside and outside and polished, things could get quite expensive. Costs of between €2,000 and €4,000 are nowadays the norm rather than the exception.
The aim of the company nanoTECH ® UG is to avoid deductions or additional costs at the end of the leasing contract or at least reduce the costs to a minimum.
On the basis of many years of experience with car dealers, leasing companies as well as private and business partners, the team knows exactly what matters when a vehicle is returned, e.g.:
Correction of bumps in the body work without paint work repairs (smart repair) Repainting Bumper – welding or gluing of synthetics Removal of scratches Polishing of the paint work for new gloss Professional interior cleaning Cleaning of upholstery / repair to upholstery Removal of stains and smells
The aim is to make your vehicle look “as good as new“ again. Depending upon its condition, this complete valeting process takes approximately 1-3 days. Time well spent.
The nanoTECH ® team looks forward to valeting also your vehicle so that you can save up to 50 to 70% on the potential costs.
Its current success is the team’s motivation. An impressive 100% success rate has been achieved so far.
Congratulations – and good luck for further success

“nanoTECH ® removes rust film”
The new challenge in valeting cars goes by the ominous name of "rust film". But what is rust film exactly? Where does it come from? What does it do? And should you - or do you have to - do anything about it? These are questions asked by numerous vehicle owners which they cannot answer for themselves. They have a certain feeling of unease and some frustration. Not only old cars are affected by rust film but also new cars months or even just a few weeks out of the showroom.
Rust film is simply very fine steel dust which flies through the air, oxidises (rusts) and deposits itself on objects of all kinds. For instance, rust-film particles develop on the brake systems of old trains or nearby metal processing companies.
Initially, what develops is surface rust. However, you should have it removed before it develops a dynamic of its own which can lead to excessive rusting. The deeper the rust particle has got into the paint work, the more difficult it will be to remove it.
A similar phenomenon can be observed after severe winters as road salt has almost the same effect. Road salt can lead to tiny, initially almost invisible damage in the paint work, which will begin to rust.
